Samarium (Sm (T))

Samarium sputtering targets are used to deposit Sm-based thin films. They are commonly applied in the production of magnets due to their high magnetic capacity, lasers due to high thermal conductivity, and as a neutron absorber in nuclear reactors due to their high neutron absorption cross-section. Its high melting point and density also make it suitable for sputtering.
