Lutetium Iodide (LuI3)

Iodide lutetium in magnetic materials, medical imaging, and optical coatings application fields. It can be used for the preparation of magnetic materials, such as lutetium ferrite and lutetium cobalt oxide, used in the manufacture of permanent magnet and sensors. In medical imaging, lutetium iodide can be used for the preparation of contrast agents, to provide contrast in MRI scans. In optical coating, lutetium iodide can be used to increase the reflectivity, and corrosion resistance.
